Gender wage gap in Austria

Description

In 2013, 50% of women in Austria earned more than 1890 euros - in the case of male workers, the gross median income was over 900 euros higher at 2786 euros. In addition to many other factors, different gender-specific training levels , the regional economic structure and divergent part-time rates lead to a spatially diverse picture of the income situation of women and men.
