Video synchronized Map

Description

This work is about synchronizing the video playback with a map animation which provides multiple visualization perspectives.
Combining maps with video has the advantage of giving users a better spatial reference in mind.

This work is inspired by a scene in the movie, Green Book(see the shot below). While the car is running on the road, the map implies that they are moving to Ohio. This is a really small but delicate technique of filming and visualization.

On the left is an SVG Map and on the right is Google map.
YouTube and Google map API is used in this work.
The video is shooting by myself in Vienna, Austria 2018.
